Introduction Economics is a social science that studies how people make choices to satisfy their unlimited wants despite having limited resources. Human wants are very large but money and time and other resources are limited. Therefore people have to decide where and how to use the resources they have available.
Main Focus of Modern Economics Modern economics does not focus only on production and wealth accumulation. It also considers income distribution and public health and working hours and the environment and pollution and overall human welfare.
